Given that 3.5 million Taiwanese travelers visited Japan between January and July 2023, travel platform KKday has announced a partnership with Japan's hotel booking website Jalan to jointly expand accommodation services targeting the Taiwanese market.
This collaboration will introduce nearly 10,000 unique hotels and lodgings located in popular Japanese travel destinations such as Kanto, Kansai, Kyushu, Shikoku, and Okinawa, with real-time booking capabilities.
KKday noted that popular destinations include Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, as well as rapidly rising spots like Okinawa, Kyushu, and Hokkaido. The company expects that the fall and winter seasons will bring increased demand for autumn foliage tours, skiing, and hot spring trips.
Jalan also stated that since the reopening of borders, the number of international visitors has been steadily increasing. The partnership will enhance their capacity to serve overseas markets and improve operational quality. Meanwhile, Klook has partnered with LINE Pay to launch a new "Find Experiences" service, allowing users to book and pay for both domestic and international activities offered by Klook through LINE Pay, adding convenience for consumers.
