SparkLabs Taiwan DemoDay Focuses on AI Technology Startups

Spark Labs Taiwan Recently Held its 9th Demo Day, Showcasing Six AI Technology Startups with Plans to Expand Internationally. Here are the Highlighted Teams:

Colega AI

Based in San Francisco, Colega AI provides AI social media management services for the restaurant industry. Users can automate social media operations via LINE or WhatsApp, including post generation, scheduling, comment replies, and integration with Google Reviews. Within two months of launching in Taiwan, Colega AI has attracted clients like the Zhuji an Restaurant Group and Toasteria, and plans to enter the Japanese market this year.


Seattle-based startup Seasalt.ai offers enterprise-level AI voice and chat customer service systems. Focusing on Taiwan as its primary market, clients include Cathay Financial Holdings, McDonald's, and Lion Travel, with collaborations with IT firms like Systex and Gogolook. Seasalt.ai aims to leverage its success in Taiwan to expand into the US market.


Valtec AI

Valtec AI specializes in advanced drone technology, developing intelligent offshore fishing capture technology such as the AI Fish Finder. It has collaborated with fishing groups in Taiwan and the Philippines and plans to expand into the Japanese and Korean markets.


AiSeed

Taiwan-based AiSeed is an AI intelligent drone company that integrates AI chips into drones to enhance endurance and deployment capabilities. Clients include Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense, with plans to enter the US and Australian markets within the next two years.


Crave Robotics

Crave Robotics offers intelligent vending machines that provide instant meals within three minutes, targeting the late-night convenience market, especially chain hotels. It has partnered with Boiling Point in the US and plans to collaborate with Taiwanese startups to enter the US market.


MEandMine

Founded by Taiwanese entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, MEandMine uses AI tagging technology to identify psychological risks in children, combining neuroscience and gamification strategies. Already implemented in US campuses, serving 5,000 students, it plans for large-scale deployment with funding from K5 Global and Horizon Ventures.


SparkLabs Taiwan co-founder and managing partner Eugene Chiu emphasized that Taiwan has abundant technological resources and talent, and the startup ecosystem is maturing. This DemoDay showcased how Taiwanese startups are leveraging technology to assist local industries in AI upgrades and expanding into international markets.
