A panel of industry experts at the Asia New Media Summit explored strategies for anime IPs to expand their audience and maintain long-term popularity. The discussion focused on the concept of "breaking out," or transcending a niche market to appeal to a broader audience.

Panelists, including Jamie Chang from Muse Communication, Hong Chia-yin from Chipao International Development, Qiu Tianyou from Lingkar Group Taiwan, and Yang Yu-ru from Sharp Point Media Group, shared their insights on how to achieve this. They highlighted the importance of early planning, cross-industry collaboration, and leveraging major events to generate buzz.

The panel also discussed the importance of maintaining the popularity of established IPs. Yang Yu-ru cited the success of "Slam Dunk" re-releases, while Qiu Tianyou emphasized the role of offline events in sustaining the popularity of "Haikyuu!!".

In summary, the panelists agreed that a successful anime IP requires a combination of compelling content, strategic marketing, and ongoing efforts to engage with fans.
